Says Seth Godin.
And he elaborates on his blog post “Pay For Stuff”.
I’ve noticed this: we’re caught up in a status quo that says we can learn everything we want to know about online marketing for free. There are plenty of tutorial pages on just about all aspects of creating online income available on the web. So, why pay for it?
I’ve spent hundreds of hours trying to learn for free what others would have taught me in a tiny fraction of that time, for under $100. So, why did I not pay for it?
It’s an interesting question I ask myself often when I witness the struggle of my peers. By now, I’ve bought one incredibly valuable online marketing course and a couple extremely useful tools. I wish I had bought these one year ago – it would have saved me a lot of time!
There’s probably nothing I can do to shorten the time of our individual learning paths. And I don’t even know whether my recommendations to someone are the best piece of advice at the right point of time in their online adventures. But I know this from my offline small business experience – if I want to make money, I have to invest. It’s either money or time, but invest I must!
The question is which is more efficient – a relatively small amount of money or a huge investment of time?
It’s smart to invest some money if we want to make money online!
Two products helped me a lot over the last year, so I recommend them here. Both offer great ways to try them out before you buy. One Week Marketing offers a FREE e-book and Animoto let’s you sign up for FREE to make 30-second videos. For unlimited access to full-length video production pay only $30 per year.
Both products are outright cheap for their value.

Hey Chef, you are absolutely right! The problem is which ones to buy, and of course, getting the free sample helps, but as you say, don’t think you can stop there, go for it!
